Ben Sabic is an aspiring sport administrator, young philanthropist, and post-secondary student hailing from the heart of Canada. He believes in empowering others to help shape leaders, leaving a lasting legacy, and incorporating a social good component within each venture he pursues. From an early age, he dedicated his life to giving back to the community and influencing today's and future leaders.
Ben is a first-generation post-secondary student and an aspiring sport administrator with a family sports history dating back to the Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympics (Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital, then Yugoslavia). He has an immense desire to help shape a more equitable sports world, creating opportunities where all individuals can participate in sport, whether it be on or off the playing field. For as long as he can remember, he has been enamoured by sport's ability to bond individuals from all walks of life, foster the development of new connections, and bolster the growth of communities on a variety of scales.
